Pharmacy has emerged as a career choice for many science students in the last decade. Delhi is the educational hub of India, and Delhi-NCR is house to many pharmacy colleges. Hundreds of students from all over India compete to get admitted in the pharmacy colleges in Delhi NCR. The quality of education and placement records in these colleges ranges from poor to excellent with many colleges lying in-between. This paper will attempt to review the pharmacy colleges in Delhi NCR so that students can make an informed choice.
Delhi has traditionally been a centre of education, where many great Institutions, a number of Universities and colleges are located. It is known for the excellent quality of education provided by these Pharmacy institutions. These institutes and universities are run by the Central Government, State Government and rest of them by the private sector. The range and equivalency of courses being offered is truly mind boggling & globally accredited. Hoards of aspiring students shift to Delhi just to attain an admit, every year not just from all over India but from all over the world.
The statistics of colleges saw a dramatic increase after the set up of the Knowledge Park area in Greater Noida and mushrooming of colleges in the areas adjacent to Delhi, especially in the locations like Gurugram, Ghaziabad, etc. Hence, after Delhi being the top-most, Delhi-NCR became the second best hub of education, as many new universities & colleges sprung up in these areas.

All the private pharmacy colleges in Uttar Pradesh are affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (AKTU), previously known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). The students competing to get an admit here, are influenced usually by the reviews from their peers, placement records of the college, overall results & ranking of the colleges in popular magazines or University etc.
