Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology (Pharm.)

Overview

It all started with a fine gentleman who was at the helm of financial affairs with a blue chip firm of India. He was a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant, had seen the innards of corporate India, and knew what significance quality education can have in one's life. This suave and gentle person, our Founder President, Mr Manohar Thairani, everyday met hordes of youth (internal customers, customers, vendor employees) and could sense something was amiss in the training these youth had received.

Rather than await large scale reforms by the invisible governments, he plunged into the academic world, founding Lloyd Group of Institutions. This group has had admirable success, impressing quality, thus having satisfied students, happy smiling parents and appreciative corporate clientele.

The Lloyd campus is spread over the 10+ acres in the ZERO pollution Greater Noida, Lloyd continues to be a benchmark in the domain of education. Lloyd is also planning its university campus on a 50 acre area opposite Formula One Racing track.

The Institute is an independent, coeducational, privately endowed college, having courses of management; and pharmacy). It has some 100 faculty members, more than 400 undergraduate and graduate students, and more than 850 alumni, doing very well in their career.

At its founding in 2004, Lloyd has been an educational innovation, a community of hands-on problem solvers in love with fundamental science and eager to make the world a better place. Today, that spirit still guides how we educate students on campus and how we shape new digital learning technologies to make teaching accessible to millions of learners around the world. Since its incorporation Lloyd has upheld its abiding commitment to advance knowledge and educate students in Pharmacy, technology, and related areas of reseach. Teaching and research—with relevance to the practical world as a guiding principle—continue to be the Institute’s primary purpose as it serves the nation and the world.
